RIVERSIDE — It came down to the final four minutes, and it came down to Jordan Cole. The Riverside forward buried his third of the night with 4:11 left in the third to send his side past the Hawks 4–3 in a Tuesday-night thriller that had the barn on its feet.

Cole's third was a natural hat-trick — three unanswered, no reply in between — and it moved him to 20 goals on the season and a career 100 games in Division 2, two milestones ticked off in a single shift. Marcus Vane did the setup work on two of them, extending his own assist streak to five straight games.

The Hawks had answers for most of the night. Trailing 2–0 after twenty, they leaned on netminder Sofia Ruiz — 31 saves, several of the highlight-reel variety — to claw back level early in the third before Cole's late heroics settled it.

Riverside move to 9–2 and top the table. They're back on the ice next Tuesday against the Titans.
